Good luck to him, I say (the sincere version as in "I hope you sell for near that price" rather than the "no hope mate" interpretation). Definitely one for a collector. There are not many vehicles like that around, so why not? Any Griff can be restored, but you can't wind back the clock (odometer).

Shame, it could have been worth £68K if it did't have them really stupid looking lights on the back.
But then it wouldn't be "special" wink

And removed the nice wooden dash and replaced with a shiny metal one

And (not a Griff expert) are those seats original or from a Tuscan?

The original one with a few thousand miles on it sold recently for £70K IIRC, so maybe this one isn't that far off the mark. Even tatty SE's go for well over £30K these days.
And the other low mileage one they had sold as well at very strong money from a buyer over the phone I think without viewing the car.
A while back when Griffith where much less there was a tread on here what later TVR do you think is the best investment and I suggested the Griffith as she was the only car that TVR built that won a design award.
Its Certainly looking that was as far as Percentage increases in comparison to others.
I just hope it does not mean they will be snapped up and Garaged as they are for Driving and enjoying

Dash, seats and ugly rear lights (can't believe TVR ever fitted them) are all part of the SE pack.

The seats are the same as the ones fitted to the early Cerbera's and the last few Chimaera's.

Looking at the photo's, I noticed the front wheels were the wrong size - 15" with 225/50 x 15 tyres, instead of the 16" rims fitted with 225/45 x 16 tyres.

The front wheels must have been a special order for the original customer!

Got to agree with this. £58k buys a lot of car.
