Hi,

Can anyone recommend a garage for me to get my Griffith Mot'd, preferably in the Edinburgh area?

I know it's just an Mot but having dealt with a few numpties in the past, I'd rather my Griff goes to someone who's more likely to act with care and has a bit of knowledge on TVR's.

Thanks,

Jamie

I'm based in Edinburgh, and usually do the extra mikes to Dreadnaught in Calander, or XWorks in Preston (get an MOT and service at the same time).

But if its just an MOT you're after that's maybe a little over the top.

I and a couple of others use Springfield motors at Loanhead for TVR MOT's. Ask for Ian - 0131 448 2239.

Some of the folks in the Edinburgh area go to Hexham Horeless Carriages (in Northumberland)

Always use Hexham for servicing etc. Been with them for 7 years with the Tuscan.

Same here for about ten years, 360 mile round trip to drop it off and the same to collect. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Thanks everyone for your replies, much appreciated!

Loanhead is only 30 mins drive away for me so that one will be ideal. Will give Ian a call.

Would've preferred to get the Mot done at TVR Power as I'm down there in a few weeks but my timings out and I've run out of time this year grumpy

You can drive your car to an MOT garage if its run out of test, but only on the day you've booked it in for its test.
