I'm currently in Adelaide, waiting for my connection on a tortuous journey back to the UK. As I was sitting on the plane from Sydney, I glance over to the guy sitting next to my son. He had a paper that looked like it was NZ based, with a motor sport bias. As I glance at the open page I do a double take; there's an advert for a NZ sports car dealer that's selling various aging classics and there, smack in the middle, is an advert for a 1996 Chimaera. I found that surprising enough but more so was the price - £18,000 dollars. A quick google of this tells me that this is only just over £9k in gbp. To me that seemed a little low for a car on the other side of the world - I'd always assumed a sizeable markup would've been applied in such markets? I guess it could rotten to the core but doubt a car in that bad a condition would be sold with such 'fanfair' as it were. Just an observation. smile
