Hopefully a TVR win in NSCC this year
Discussion
I have been racing in the NSCC national street car championship for a good few years now and usually not had the free time to compete properly. The drag racing is only a part of competition. A lot of points are won for attending shows and regular cruises etc. This year I am making the best effort I can.
This is how I stand mid season
This is just the top of the table and there are a total of 34 cars competing this year.
Still a very busy time ahead with something to attend nearly every weekend.
This week I will be at York again for round 6 of the racing.
Wish me luck please. Support from the TVR community means a lot to me.

Thanks for the support guys. I am concentrating on trying to win NSCC this year but also have other events and meetings on the calendar.
This Sunday is the 39th Street Racer championship at York with £1000 prize money. I always enter for a laugh but there are usually a handfull of cars with much more power and race potential as I have. Saying that I have got to a final once and as we know anything can happen in the moment. Looking forward to a great weekend.

Been busy and especially this weekend. Saturday drove to Doncaster and Leeds then back up proper North to Kirkbride for a round of racing on Sunday where I managed to come runner up.
So happy I achieved a heap of points to stay at the top.
And a cheeky video racing Pete Smiths Mustang who is currently in 2nd spot

Sounds like there's no competition in white rose country, better off sticking with the left hand side of the Pennines "God's country "!!!!, but the Yorskshire lot love it there
PS good luck Derek

Another rather busy weekend completed.
Friday drove 240 miles to the Supernationals rod and custom show near Biggleswade.
Camped the night, went on the cruise there on Saturday then headed to the Leeds cruise on the way (slight detour) home. Today I went to a car show in Blackpool. So another 2600 points this weekend and pulled a little more in the lead so happy with that.
The car is doing wedding duties a week Friday then off to York for 2 days racing.
