Anyone fancy a track day at Cadwell in September? Both are open pit. 105dB static. 95dB drive by.

First option is Monday 12th Sept. MSV day so a group deal available as per previous days.
http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/calendar/2016/sept...

Second is Wednesday 21st Sept. Javelin day so not sure what deal is on offer.

There are no pits at Cadwell so a gazebo would be handy. May have sorted out trailer by then so can bring mine.

So votes please. Quote this post. Delete the blurb and the 'quote' '/quote' bits leaving the below. Then add your choice.

I hope to make it to one or the other. Depends on work load and finances.
Love Cadwell, it's my local circuit, so it would be a shame not to.

At the risk of boring those who have seen it before, for the benefit of those who don't know the circuit, here's what it looks like from the car behind a badly driven Chimaera. Wonderful handling circuit and the most interesting track i know.

My preference would be the 12th as I'm doing Hethel on the 25th, I haven't added my name to the list as I need to see how things are at work nearer the time.

I won't be able to make either of these. Out of interest, is the club still doing an annual trackday at Cadwell? I know they struggled to make up numbers every year.

Not done one since 2014 as they needed 60 and struggled to get 40.
Too many owners don't want to risk their car at all, or on that track (which is a long way from home for many), or at that time of year, and it was no cheaper than a standard MSV day.
Also it was done in skill groups, one 20 minute session each per hour, which doesn't appeal to many experienced hands, who tend to prefer open pit lane.

I would also prefer the 12th as I too am booked for Hethel on the 25th. Work/finances permitting will confirm/book nearer the time.

Got to pull out of this one - service, mot, ins, road tax, suspension work - all in the last two weeks so stoney broke. Still doing Hethel on the 25th as already paid for.
