Had a great time chatting to Al today at the Meriden meet, just wanted to say a big thankyou to you for taking the time to give me all of that buying advice, the info has been passed on to the old man who is most appreciative.

Lovely to see so many stunning TVR's in various forms, the cheeriness of all and helpfulness, although not surprising, is a credit to all TVR owners.

Would be great to tag along in my Japanese machine when senior smiffy has made his purchase, I promise I won't park too close so as to detract from the TVR spectacle biggrin

Thanks again Al

Hey Smiffy, I like to talk and share my joy, simples.

There's often so much mis information surrounding these cars I feel it's important to counter that negativity and say it how it is.

If you've got an interest in Tvr then I don't think many people would care to much what motor you turn up in.
get your dad along next time, keep talking to as many owners as possible and keep asking the questions you want answering,
We all started out blind and with the same fears, some cars are dogs but most owners will probably tell you their car is reliable because mostly they are.

Try and come along to the next Warks meet and I'll take you for a spin Andy, your dad too if he's really interested in the cars,, I'll go as slow as possible but beware even that will be fast hehe

In one five minute drive you'll see how the Chim can be a pussycat or an animal in equal measure,
If your a slow cruiser the cars perfect, if your a lead footed nutter it's also rather good at that too.

Regards Alun
