Next year me and my other half are planning to take my T350 on a European car tour. Have any of you guys done similar with an organised travel firm? And if so, do you have any recommendations. Or for that matter, ones to avoid.
On the other hand are any of you planning on doing something like this either with an organised tour group or independently? The reason I ask this, is because my biggest fear is to end up on an organised car tour with a bunch of Austin Allegros /Morris Marinas or cars of that ilk! The ideal situation for us is to travel with other TVR's. Beating that if by saying that travelling with other TVR's is an impossible dream. Then the next best thing would be to do this with other performance sports cars.

Jasper's annual TVR pilgrimage to Spain & Portugal (since 2004).

I did the first three and a couple since.

I'm doing my third one this year. Previous two were in a 350z HR and this will be my first in the Tuscan. The cars in our party this year are an SL55 AMG, RX7, Honda-Civic-Engined Lotus Elise, another Tuscan, Z4 and a 335i.

We're going for about 10 days, returning home on the bank holiday Monday in August. The plan is to do about 2500 miles down to the Alps and back via quite a few alpine passes and with some low-distance days so we can stop for some rock climbing.

One of our crew this year is a semi-professional photographer so we're hoping for some good pictures, especially from his drone's HD camera.

You need a TVR S Series. The S Club has done an annual Eurotour for the last seven years. driving Absolutely awesome, great fun in great company on great roads.
These trips are brilliantly organised by our very own Longers ( Ian Longden ) who never fails to impress us with his exemplary planning and attention to detail.
He also runs trips to Classic Spa, Le Mans Classic & 24 Heures, and also in conjunction with the TVRCC and 1st Tickets.

Check out his website, he could help if you are planning a group tour.

Can recommend both Drive Espania and the S Club tour. Although I don't think S Club is going to Europen in 2017.

Black Forest Riders have a Facebook page and organise weekend meets.

Do we have to get a ferry or go by the train in a tunnel under the sea to get there next year? Also I'm fed up with all that DartCharge mullarky frown

We did our 1st one with Drive Espana this year. We went to Super Deportivo Cantabria, certainly no Marina or Allegro on that one.
We're thinking of going next year but with maybe an extra day or two either side. Plenty of YouTube videos to look at.
It was our first trip to the continent and has introduced us to a new type of holiday.

+1 for Drive Espana's TVR Tour.

I've been on 8 !

This year was the first year I couldn't make it since our maiden trip in 2008.

If you want a flavour of what goes on, I did some books which you can browse on Blurb.

pm me for a link.
