Hi there, I can't give a reply to all of the questions but this is my understanding of how the bulk of these shells ended up out there. The first batch of cars were in build as dealer demo cars in '04 just after PRW sold up to NS. The Formula Red one seen there was going to be my first demo Sagaris. NS asked the TVR development guys if the car was ready to go into production 'as was' with open vents, lightweight bodies, etc. They stated that how they were configured would make them less than ideal for finishing to a good standard, and would also render them less than ideal for road-use. The decision was then made to withdraw these bodies for use on the road cars and come up with a better body for road-use. It was then thought that a factory-supported race series may come about utilising the redundant shells eventually but of course this never happened.
Bit by bit shells did find a variety of homes as some Tuscan Challenge cars were rebuilt into 'Sagaris' look-a-like racers.....
I hope that this helps to explain some of the background to these photos!
Best regards, Tony
Tony were those bodies ever fitted to chassis or replaced before they got that far into the build

That silver sag on the ramp was the red shell . I put the number plate aperture in the front and closed the vents in the front wings .

More information pulled from the Sagaris #7 thread:

The car pictured above is the MPH '03 car. This car was a T350 shell with a Sagaris prototype front and back bonded to it. That car was dismantled for production patterns in order to become the Sagaris body master from which moulds were taken. It was destroyed in early'04

First out of the moulds was a silver pre-production car which got written off and has since been rebuilt and shipped to Switzerland sitting in somebody's collection.

The next out was the pre-production 'Candy' car

The next out of the mould was the "R/T Sagaris" PJ54 WNL. TVR had decided to start a Sagaris race series and all the shells were all cast with cut out vents etc etc, then at the last minute the series was cancelled. WNL was already pretty much built though (as the intended showcase), so they finished it and then displayed it around the dealers as a show car as to what a race Sag would have looked like.

The next out was a pre-production black car now owned by Dom at TVR Power.

The next two cars out of the mould were the first 'proper' cars which ended up as the press cars (Chem Orange PN05 OUL & Blue PN05 OUX).

The next car out was purple press car (PF05 AMO).

The next cars, as far as I know were the first customer cars.

Appears to be the first set of shells.

Light green Sagaris in storage locker in Michigan.

Similar colour mule to one shell pictured.

Another forum members project car (posted in his build thread). Could be one of these shells.

In the facebook group there was an owner who posted a few pictures of his purple sagaris that appears to be one of these shells. See if he chimes in and posts some pictures on PH.
