TOSH - TVR's over Surrey Hills
Discussion
Sooo, what's the word for Sunday then?
Weather is looking good.
What about Whotton, over Ranmore common, drop down to Shere, wend across the lanes to Ewehurst way, Dunsfold, Hindhead and stop at the Punchbowl for a tea? All via the lanes avoiding any sort of main road?
If anyone gets lost, the NT cafe is a good rendezvous stop.

Sounds like a good plan, at the moment just sounds like the three of us but I'm out for a run anyway if no-one turns up ! Weather should be dry. What time suits at the Wotton Hatch ? think they open at 11:00 for coffee but can start earlier if people need to get back home.Weather is looking good.

Room for another one? I was going to join the Southern Cerbs but to get to Shoreham for breakfast from Portsmouth (via Sunderland to avoid the Revival traffic) would mean too early a start... gosh, wouldn't have wanted to be at Goodwood today, soggy trilbys all round!
All welcome, even in a tin-top Speed 3 said:

All welcome, even in a tin-top That was a nice little drive, a good social ending in a bacon roll and a cup of tea at Frensham Ponds. It could have been longer but spoilt by the usual Surrey Sunday roads and the enormous amount of cycles around, (I bloody hate cyclists).
Surrey and Hampshire are great places with brilliant countryside spoilt only by all the people who want to live here!
There was only four TVRs but enough to stay together.
Edited to say, Steve you probably have some photographs?

Nice to meet you all today, thanks for making us newbies welcome and for introducing us to some new roads and places, Peter.

Great blat in the sun despite the hundreds of MAMIL's. It really does p**s you off doing 22mph on great roads. I mountain bike but the roadies drive me up the wall.
Great to meet you new guys and your ballast, hope you enjoy the Cerb Rik and learn to go a bit faster
That video link is dead for me, don't know what the problem is.
Pete, you had some impressive exhaust flames out of the Hindhead Tunnel but also a bit of smoke occasionally coming off the throttle (not always), don't know if that's related to your latest tinkering.
Can't find anything about that upside down motorbike buried in the side of the Landie on the A25 on the local news, hope they survived.
Couple of photos from my ballast
Look forward to doing it again soon, I seem to have a magic touch with the weather if not the mobile roadblocks !

Good to know about the flames!Occasional smoke due to the fact that I am still running in the engine..............., suppose it's only done 700 miles since new rings etc.
Even if it uses a bit of oil, not the end of the world!
