Just had a quote from one of the 'specialist' insurers. Morris Paralanian camper van of 1963 vintage. Parked on my drive when not in use, no security devises limited to under 5000 miles year. I' m retired from work, clean license and, well a model driver apparently

Quote is £195 with £200 excess, fox glass replacement. Seems like a fair deal??

We insure our 1974 VW T2 through admiral - last renewal was £160. We're both early 30's, other half has 2 non fault accidents on her record and its on the drive behind a gate. Guaranteed valuation and 5k miles a year. I have no complaints about them at all!

Thanks for responses. To be clear I haven't purchased the camper as yet but am preparing by doing a bit of ground work. I understand that the 1963 vintage requires an annual MOT?
