TVR Number Plates Love 'em or loath 'em there's plenty
Discussion
I have only read the first and last pages of this topic. I am sure there are some Epic plates.
I remember many years ago there was a wedge on the track scene B16FUN which I always thought appropriate.
My own Griff is J*00TVR which it has worn from new. I do remember (almost 20 years ago) a friend giving me a load of stick "you said you would never buy a personal plate". "I didn't, it was already on there".

Had mine from new. When I placed the order for the car I noticed the letters on the new cars in the dealership were LTR so I asked if I could have number 5 to go with it.
And in a similar vein, this used to be mine (a long, long time ago).SDI_5581 by Jason Aldous, on Flickr
I have to say I never really understood why people will spend a huge amount of money on a number plate that doesn't actually say what they think it says. I have a TVR badge on my car so paying thousands for a number plate with TVR on it seems a little pointless. Of course, private plates are a status symbol in the UK and nothing else. The better the number, the richer the owner.
I lived in Washington State in the USA a while back and you could have any number you wanted from one to seven digits (and not rude or using non standard letters), all for the $47 cost of making the plates. Ironically, most people didn't bother as it was viewed as a waste of $47!!
