Hi All,

Went to Brecon Beacons this weekend from Hampshire, round trip 540 odd miles on M-Ways, A & B roads, great weather to, saw all the cars below, incl some very rare ones, but not 1 Tiv?! Where were you all hiding?!

1) VW Beetle Convertible from 40s/50s, flying a little blue triangular pennant - so v rare (Hitlers courtesy car when the Merc was in the garage?).
2) 1 Lotus Exige
3) 2 Lotus Elises
4) 1920/30s Rolls Roll type car with partition between driver & passengers.
5) Daimler Dart.
6) Morgan.
7) Austin Healey
8) MGA (SP) 1000(?)
9) 2 VX220's
10) 2 x modern Bentleys
11) Lamborgino Merci
12) F type Jag
13) Ferrari
14) 2 MG's from 1960's

I then went to Whiteley to see my son...for a very nice meal.

First time I'd been. Great pub with good food as well as lots of TVR's and friendly owners. Will be going again.

Oddly enough, someone on the trip I did was going to try & get there to!

Sadly/Stupidly/strangely, never been to a Hants Tvr meet there. Will try for November's meet.

Took a trip up into Brecon Beacons for a play on Sunday from Wiltshire, via M4 to junction 36 and north from there on some cracking roads, coffee in Brecon then back the long way to Cardiff for late lunch with my son. Saw one other TVR and got a wave.

Followed a route from PH forum post under great roads in Wales. Awesome fun and love the scenery and epic roads.
