Driving abroad?

With the exception of Tesla's superchargers, do any of the charging suppliers in the UK have an agreement with, or a European partner in other countries? For example, Ecotricity talk about chargers in Europe but I can't see anything about what's available for UK EV drivers when driving abroad.

Anyone done a European trip in an EV yet? How was it?

A few years ago I took my Outlander around Northern Europe. Not a full EV so I did not have to rely upon charge points, and I was glad as although I saw lots of them they all seemed to require pre registration. Prior to the trip I had tried to register with one of the providers but it was all too difficult.
Managed to charge thecar overnight from an ordinary domestic socket.
