Was at Brands Hatch today for a trackday. Slippery at first but got black flagged for the brake lights not working - the switch appears to be breaking down. Anyway. Sorted it and heading out. The track had dried up a bit by then so was able (confident enough) to go fast enough to turn the tyres 'on'. Four laps in and Tamy just cuts out. So about 10ish.

Recovery arrives at 3:30pm and I got trailered home.

Spent the day trying to trace the reason. Inertia switch is 'off'. No power at the fuel pump. Tried direct 12v feed to the pump and nothing.

So, I am now down to no road worthy TVRs. Not sure I'll get to Tamy before Wendy's rear calipers come back. AArrrggghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really unfortunate Stuart.

It wasn't the best of days. I turned up at lunchtime and thought about asking if I could get on track for the afternoon. Started talking to Colin, (seeby) and managed to carry on talking till nearly 4 PM!

Also watched Nick fly around the track in his new Ginetta, looked really good from where I was standing.

Oh well, we will organise another day when the weather is better and all the cars are running properly.

Twas a very quick & dirty lashup with what was available, i'd suggest repeating the exercise with slighty more robust solution to a decent fused supply just to be certain of the test results.

Also dropped my phone yesterday too.

Anyway, that was yesterday.

Going to throw my efforts at Wendy as per my pre trackday plans.

As it looks like removal of the seat will aid sorting Tamy, I'll do that and sort out the dash, heated seat wiring and the 12v / USB sockets in one 'go' along side the current issue.

Why bother with heated seat just wait for more smoke or problem with exhaust on next trackday laugh

When you go to test the pump again if it does not run try running it backwards. If there is dirt in the pump that may clear it.
