anyone tried LED bulbs in lupo lights?
Discussion
Bear in mind you'll probably get a response involving how to deal with the CANBUS system which is irrelevant to TVRs.
Don't know what bulbs are fitted to the Lupo lights (H4, H7, H3????).
Performance output of the bulbs has been done to death in these forums.
Installation issues will probably revolve around the heatsink on the rear of the bulb and getting it to fit behind the wheelarch covers and / or the headlamp rear panel.
You can get bulbs with a chainmail heat sink that you can mould around the space within the back of the unit.
Alternatively, leave the back of the unit off and rely on the wheelarch panels to 'seal' them off.
Lets be clear here though, LED bulbs don't get anywhere near as hot as incandescent bulbs so the heat sinks don't need a cold air feed.
