Been wanting to do a trip abroad for a while now so I'm going to book the Drive Espana Superdeportivos this week.

Anyone on here done this trip as advise, comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

I did it last year, and thinking of booking myself in for this year as well, with a couple of extra days added.

It's a great trip, but is full on without much respite, driving, eating, drinking and socialising, would highly reccomend it if you like this.

Yes I did it a few years again, great time. As has been said it is pretty full on and there's quite a lot of driving to do each day. but the roads and scenery are fantastic. The track day at Guadix is great too, they have helmets so you don't need to buy one if you don't have one. It's a whole day and when I went I think there were 6 cars there so there is plenty of opportunity.

Here are some pictures from my trip

Me and some metes are doing our own version in September, northern Spain and into Portugal. 8 nights plus ferry. Carefully researched roads and hotels.

So far a considerably smaller convoy of Ferrari 360, Porsche 930 Turbo and my Evora S. We may have a Ferrari 575 join us too.

Thanks all,

After talking to John at the Bucks meet it definitely made my mind up to give it a go.

I think the superdeportivos doesn't have as much driving as other tours which suits us.

Not done that particular tour, but we did the TVR tour last April, and would thoroughly recommend it. Awesome roads, fab scenery, the Paradors are all excellent and interesting places to stay, and the day at Guadix was great (even with an engine that had only done 1,000 miles since a full rebuild by the time we got to the circuit - first job was an oil and filter change there!

We went with 2 other couples who we knew, which made it even better. We naturally split into 2 groups for each day - us 3 cars and the other 4 cars in our case (Jasper travelling separately) which worked really well, especially as our group were probably the more "enthusiastic" drivers. All met up each evening at the hotels.

Very well researched by Jasper, with an explanation of each days route(s) each evening (as well as a comprehensive road book), leaving you to drive as quickly or slowly as you wished the next day.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Just to Clarify there are two trips under discussion here, Superdeportivos is a week in late May and the TVR trip is 11 days in late April
