I'm very pessimistic that there'll ever be a 40K Cerb bought.

Buy one, if residuals concern you that much then you won't enjoy ownership as much as treating it like a fking awesome car that deserves to be driven

TVRs are marmite, Sags more so. They're not a huge improvement over a Tuscan or a T350 and they aren't as good a drivers car as a Tamora.

However, the market dictates what they sell for more, marmite or otherwise and its for more than many other TVRs built in Blackpool.

I'd be hugely surprised if the new car release will impact the value of the Sagaris because it's something with a badge on, not a TVR.

My forecast, Sags will continue to slowly increase in value.

Do I regret selling mine? My last two, not a bit. My first one yes - sentiment and nothing else smile

Agree with this, I doubt we will see a 100k Sag anytime soon, I think they have pretty much found their level.

Lets face it Sag's are sort after because of their looks, I doubt most owners really know or care about the difference in power and handling compared to a T350 of Tam. I certainly don't.
I wanted a Sag for emotional reasons not because of the way it drove or the power etc. TVR has always been that 10 year old little boy poster on the wall thing, so I grew up from the Wedge era onwards, loving the huge TVR badge on the front and the crazy under spoiler thing of the later wedges and endless discussions of Countach vs SEAC spoilers and which was bigger. Then the shock when the Griff was released of all the curves and daring to try and sit in one at the Earls Court Motorshow in 1991 etc. So TVR really is to me Peter Wheeler, Blackpool etc. and the Sag therefore the last and maddest. I would guess this is the same for a lot of Sag owners so the new car is unlikely to have much of an effect on values
