I'm just about to attempt a DIY method this weekend with a tin of this http://www.rust.co.uk/0008-tech-line-high-temperat...
My 4.2 Cerbera reached temps of 300-350 degrees at idle so I'll see what temps are when I have it all back together, might take a while as I have the gearbox to refit as well.

I've not found the need to add any wrapping afterwards.

so it's worth spending some more money and time doing this now when everything is out and apart than regret it later and probably spend more time and money fixing melted parts

Are then manifolds stainless?
My preference would be an alloy shield between the two - ceramic coated would improve matters further - rather than wrapping. I'm not a fan of wrapping, not to the point of preaching about it and you are free to do as you see fit.

Is that the same process as zircotec or performance 1? As I'm led to believe they are quite different, I'm on my phone so can't make out the Polish site at the minuteI have just done my ones here, http://www.hipeco.com/eng/

Had mine done by zircotec, looked great five years ago, had them done in black, now look like a sort of sooty grey colour, a lot of money for something that doesn't keep its colour , of course things might have improved now
I've found the same problem with Zircotec Sterling Silver... and problems with Zircotec flacking... They say they'll redo them but it costs £250 in labour to have them removed and refitted and Zircotec refuse to pay .glow worm said:

I've been told of various options and benefits for and against. They also asked my usage and requirements. Very impressed and they come up cheaper than Performance 1 (even in the more expensive spec).
Very impressed so far

General consensus of camcoat is not great when compared to Zircotec...http://www.camcoat.com/main/coatings1.html
