I have seen this fitted to a 3000M but i can't find the photo at the moment.
I have been thinking about fitting one as it seems a good idea to have a nice fresh air supply all the time.

That just looks horribly restrictive to me!! The framework around the venturi's looks terrible!
Why not open out the vents are the rear of the bonnet at the screen base where dense low pressure air sits then construct a plenum around the carbs to draw inlet air in at that point.
I also like NACA ducts which can be used to draw air into the carbs or indeed be reversed to draw hot air from around the engine bay.

I had one that came with a Webber kit for my Suzuki Samurai, not as bad as it looks.
The worst bits being corner where the hose joins, which can be smoothed/rounded off and the centre support, which can be reduced and smoothed, quite easily with a dremel.

Imho, Nice cool air supply direct to Weber.
On my Lotus Elan Sprint it has very long trunking from front to supply the Dellortos, which works very wellsmile

A bit of measuring and I reckon it's a no go, too tall.

Shame really, with a bit of work as Slim Jim suggested, I think it could have been ok and maybe one of these sat underneath it wink
