Just hard at work and thinking about the new TVR and what it may look like.

Just wondered what the majority of TVR enthusiasts would like to see in the styling. Obviously it could look completely new, and different, and it also may take a few styling cues from any of the above.

Just a bit of fun!

p.s, I have attempted to start a poll, apologies if this doesn't work.

Er, hopefully none of them... No really, if it resembles a previous car I'm not sure I'd be overly impressed... small styling cues yes, but it needs to be gobsmacking in it's own right, not an imitation of an earlier masterpiece... just my opinion wink

Yeah I think that's how I'd like it to be also. Take small design features maybe, but look fresh and new.

I'd like it to adopt the sleek, simple lines of the T350 if I had to choose one previous model.

I just hope its not a generic supercar. The low volume supercars of today seem to all look so generic it rather sad. I am praying owes more to a Tuscan than the usual pointy low thingamagig with big front air intakes and loads of un necessary angles

The curvy shape of the Tuscan owes its existence to the fact that the bodywork was layed up in a mould. The beauty of using GRP is that you can make it whatever shape you want. If the bodywork of the new car is to be made from sheet metal, which I understand it will be, I doubt it will be anything like as curvaceous as the Wheeler era tivs. I expect a more generic-looking affair with wing panels at each corner, etc.

There are little bits from various models that I wouldn't object to seeing incorporated in the new car like ....
. the 'mouth' of the Tuscan2
. the headlights and/or splitters/teeth of the sagaris
. the deep curve of the doors and cutaway into the front wings
. curved wide wheel arches like the rear of the Sagaris (but not 'flared' lke some cars)

It would be nice to see an 'adaptation' of some of those things incorporated, but yes I definitely want ot to be a different car overall, and I don't want it to look like a CFD jelly model !!

I have always liked the three slats in the wing from a Ferrari 288GTO also :-)

Hideous, even knowing its a Fezza, it looks like a TR7 with a bodykit.... shame on you...

As previously stated I don't believe it should really share any cues with any previous Tivs! The proportions similar to a T350 potentially but other than that all new, hopefully beautiful but aggressive and a little bit bonkers. Look at previous models, remove the badges and there's very little to link a Cerb, a Tuscan and a Tamora to the same family, apart from the plastictastic curves and quirky touches.

TVR styling has always been timeless. A Chim or Griff could be just as at home in the 60s as the 21st century, a Tuscan or Sagaris could be released now and still look like it came back from the future. For me it's a massive part of the TVR appeal!

Hi.

I predict it will look a little like the t350 obviously a modern enhancement, and the size will between a t350 and a vantage.
