Same thing happened when the MX-5 was released.

People bought them then promptly stuck them through a hedge.

Again, age is no guarantee of ability. A bit like wallet size.
Interestingly, I was talking with a young guy at a recent Preston Supercar meet who had a new ND MX-5 (which I also have as well as the Tamora). He was telling me how scary the MX-5 was - I was thinking 'blimey, don't ever buy a TVR or you'll be in hospital or worse within a day'.

Hello,

I know a bit more on 2 out of the 3 Dutch crashes. One comment already given here, dont let other persons drive your Car. Young, old, experienced etc. its not theirs and they act and drive different then the owner who carefull chose to own a TVR with al its pro's and cons.

Not that old myselfs and drove my griff500 like a grandma the first few weeks.

I've seen plenty of the 'older' generation ruin TVRs through both poor driving and lack of use, or lack of funding to do a proper fix.

Bought my Vixen from a lovely dutch gent; sadly nothing but the paintwork was any good!!I think I've saved mine from the elder generation!
