Hey Trev, What is the format of a sprint ?? Is it a marked out track with a timer . ? Not that I can make that date ,but for future interest .
Hi Colin hope all's well with you.The format for the day is two sighting laps, one untimed practice then six to eight timed laps the day flows quite well as long as people don't get to carried away on track, plenty of time for chatting.
The lap starts from the pit lane and finishes just after the last corner before the start/finish straight so you can return to the pits.
You obviously don't get the same amount of track time as a track day but the timed laps do add a bit more interest.
Peter I will report back on my efforts I need to do well as I have lost all my hard earned brownie points, apparently the 26th is mothering Sunday.
i did several javalin sprints last year including the season closing one at snett around 80 cars meant it was just boring but earlier rounds with less cars werent so bad but wont be doing any more plus dont like the idea of thrashing a cold car from the lights as no warming up allowed.
