Yes it’s true AUTOCAR have another article about TVR (god they're coming thick and fast these days), after last weeks exploding Tamora, this week we have the ‘rip-snorting’ (can you snort rip?? If so what is it??) Tuscan on it’s way to Paris. Looks good with phrases like “This car wants to engage you on every sensual level it can find. A bit scary, a bit mysterious, but never, ever dull” then it starts to go down hill “As a tool for my pilgrimage, the Tuscan has been terrific (good so far…..) but expect little flaws that would shock in a mainstream car” yes that’s called character and is why we all love Tiv’s but then............ “nor were we prepared for the final failure” what final failure?………NOT the engine the speed six has stood up to a long journey !! but the throttle cable – DOH !!!

The summary: “I would forgive the TVR all its other foibles in exchange for reliable performance” well at least the engine didn’t grenade this time

Didn't they get a 2nd hand Chimp as a staff car from the factory a while back. I haven't seen any updates on that.

It was a Gunmetal Grey Griff, that used to be Steve Coles runabout.

Gaffer's right. It's K13MAH. 4.3 Griff in Gunmetal / Dolphin grey. Note that although it's a 4.3 it's got a 500 front end. Hrrm.
