Does anyone have any experience of having or using one of these lift and tilt vehicle devices?

Wondering if one may be useful in finishing a Chimaera restoration, still one or two jobs to do underneath.

Looks like it would go beneath he car and the pads are 800mm long and adjustable widths.

Mate uses one on his pug 205 resto, wouldn't think it a good idea to use if the lifting points where along the outriggers on a tiv

Yes that would be my concern even thought my chassis is restored and peeps do use the front and back corner areas of the outriggers as jacking points.

The difference is the front and rear outrigger corners have a diagonal brace.
Where this lift would locate there is no bracing bar the body.

I agree, that was the reason for my concern.

Not a good idea then unless lifting at the corners or the main frame box section.

Had the exact same discussion yesterday at work after seeing the pictures of my mates, the distance between the lifting pads is too wide to sit on the center box section part of the chassis, and even if it did, stability I think would not be ideal because of the narrow lift area, again as pointed out, just lifting along the lines of the outrigger tubing/body tub would be fraught with issues

idea
What about these, they are mechanical and should be lighter to manhandle than the hydraulic version?

Could also be used to raise the side of the car as well.
