Help - any TVR electricians on here?

Just re-wiring the griff and found this in the tvr side of the loom going into the 20 pin plug for the engine harness. Expecting the black wires to be earths but what is this resistor for?

Ah think I found it, pin 34 from Ecu , orange /black wire goes to earth via a resistor for manual transmission.
