Sticky brake's?
Discussion
Your thoughts please peeps! I’ve had my Cerbera 4.5 for a week now and along with everyone else I have a brake question, well a couple actually.
I get sshhtt sshhtt noises from the drivers front after the brakes have some heat in them – it’s like the piston(s) is a little slow in the caliper and just holding the pad on the disc, this does stop but only after some fairly hard braking. Also I’m very surprised how easy the same wheel (drivers front) locks up under braking – this caught me a little by surprise, as my Chimaera was very difficult to lock up. Finally I seem to have the ritual brake judder after a few high speed runs.
Do you think re-facing the pads would help/solve any of this and if so is it a simple case of filing the pad surface? Or do I have a sticking caliper which needs an overhual or am a worrying about nothing.
Cheers
Paul
