If you mean from the driving point of view; then the one in my Griff is heavy. Most of the time you do not notice it, but in heavy stop start traffic, it can get a bit much.

Interesting point, this (well, as interesting as it could be).

I used to find the one on my cerbera quite stiff, and certainly a bit of a pain in a long traffic queue. It was not, however, considered unusual.

Then it broke and required replacing. Since then, the new one is much lighter, making queuing and just about everything else far more pleasant. Even the guys who fitted it couldn't believe it, and thought there was something wrong at first (which there wasn't).

So there you go -- it was stiff, but now it's much less so.

(Cerb 4.5, btw).

My s3 clutch used to be very heavy indeed and click as it was pressed down. Now, after reconditioning the gearbox, putting a new clutch in and changing the clutch fluid it's very light and works perfectly.

I don't think anyone would call the clutch in my Chim 450 heavy. I've driven in central London and on the M25 (not sure which required the greatest number of gear changes per mile travelled) and neither made me wish TVR had listed an auto box as an option! So the clutch seems perfectly "normal". My wife also commented how easy gear changing was, having anticipated the need to step up her sessions in the gym.

Here in Holland there is someone who can convert the clutch of the wedges to hydrolic. It really is a lot better!

I have found on most cars that if the clutch appears very heavy it will probably need replacing 'soon'. After replacing they always appear to be lighter.

Although a worn clutch must be lighter than a new one because of the lack of material

The Tamora clutch is a delight - firm, but nothing like my old Chimaera - town traffic is definitely not the thigh-bulging exercise it used to be!
