Morning

I need some decent leather cleaner, I've tried the halfords stuff which is ok on really smooth leather but as soon as there is any grain to the hide it cannot shift the dirt.
I think I'm after something which foams or is a cream, any ideas?

Cheers

I have used the stuff that came with my sofa to clean and the Auto Glym leather care for afterwards. But I'm sure their leather cleaner works well too.

Decosol's Valay interior vinyl & leather cleaner seems to do the job and finish off with a good leather wax.

I have been to their workshop and what they don't know about leather really isn't worth knowing.
Probably worth giving them a bell first to see what they recommend and then you can order online.

I second hughjayteens - Leather Care Direct. Top blokes who refinished 2 sofas for me and got them back to new looking cream colour - not to mention the claw marks put on by our moggy.

To clean though - nothing beats Lux soap flakes. (From the supermarket with all of the soap powders) Just make a a bucket full with hot water and use a gentle brush or sponge to wipe over the leather but without soaking it. Once clean and dry, use a care cream to feed the leather - as per Leather Care Direct.

Don't mess with your leather!

The only stuff to use (which has the! smell as well) is GLIPTONE liquid leather. you buy a pack with a cleaner and conditioner. Its the best. about £12 for both bottles.
