I have had tvrs for 6 years. first a Chimaera for a couple and now my Griff. It is great, it is battered, driven, my only car, jolly quick, looks great, needs a nosespray, I can't afford it, but I'll not be selling it. Just steeling it for a little improvement when I take it off the road for the winter and a well deserved bit of TLC.
It is the car I have always wanted ever since I saw one in a back street in chelsea when they first came out. No Idea what it was, just had to have one.....
That's one schoolboy dream realised, now where is that Erica Eleniak.....

This is the spirit. My Friday mood is getting stronger reading these threads. I am looking forward to a dry weekend soooooo much so I can get her out on the roads and really open her up.........
Okay now that sounds bad, I talk of course of the Chim b4 you all start!.......
Not long now till time!!!

Whoops slipped of the top again, well here it goes back.....
...after all, from a point of owner/driver satisfaction and especially value for money I can't see how I, personally, could beat the TVR.

Have only owned TVR`s for just over a year but love them to bits!! Driving other cars is just plain boring and tedious - I must admit I used my cd player a lot more in my old BMW - but who needs music now!! Just listen to the roar of the exhaust and grin!!
The Tuscan`s looks are so outrageous - even my wife admits its the best looking car she has ever seen!! The comments from everyone are just brilliant and at the moment its my favourite -but then the Tamora looks good as well...
The only problem I have with TVR`s is which one to choose???? Would love one of each - but two will do for the moment!!

Looking forward to winter (dry!) driving with roof down, heat pouring out of engine bay . .with frosty (permanent - frozen) grin on face. Keep selection of puffa/caps/gloves in boot for those who need.
If they want the roof up - they're not coming in!

Ahhhhh....I was wondering what had happened to Santas little helpers and now I know. Can't really disagree mind you.Have had 2 Griffs and a cerbera and I honestly can't say which gave me the most fun.Although roof off driving is a must !!How else can one develop that chisled weathered look
I love my Chim 4.0L had it for just over a year and
10000 miles, love it when I blast it from lights and
leave everyone for dead, exhaust is just soooooo loud
and it just looks the biz
Can't wait to get a Tuscan or a Cerb or a Tamora or a
5.0L chim I think I'll have to go for another blast!!
I've had the cerb 4.5 for about 14 months now and I think it's fab. I've never known anything like it. It's cost me a bit in maintenance(as expected) but not as much as some. And anyway, nothing in life is free
Only 2 bad points:
1) The fun can be over very quickly indeed, acceleration-wise, as the portion of the brain devoted to licence preservation starts to take control
2) I haven't got any more car ownership ambitions. Which is nice.
ok, no bad points...

Ditto other thoughts and comments.
Bang for the buck factor, grin as well. Festa has used the breakdown cover more than the TVR's I have owned (4-1 to the festa ).
400 is a dream, a loud one at that. Sets off them cheap car alarms as you drive by
Only drawback.....er....well...hmmm... oh, I'm working at the moment so can't drive it.
Wonder if the next one will follow Ferrari and be named the Trevor

Had my '97 4.2 Cerb for 1 week now after years of longing for one. In this past week I have :
1/ Smiled lots
2/ Driven many, many more miles than I intended
3/ Sneaked out to the garage at 2am to sit in her
4/ Spent hours with sponge/ polish in hand
5/ Been pointed/ stared/ smiled at countless times
Absolutely POP-TASTIC! A dream come true.

Got my Cerb 4.5 about 15 months ago having dreamt of owning one for years, and it has exceeded my expectations. Have had a few niggling problems and looks as if the clutch needs seeing to... but so what! I have had more problems with my previous cars. I'll always have at least one TVR in my garage. The only problem is... which one next?
