Wow, I’ll book the white one.
For members of the public unaware of Tvr woes you could easily make the mistake of thinking this is genuine.
Which is a serious problem if you wanted it for a big event like a wedding. It's why you should always read the reviews online before booking anything and parting with your money.

Reviews can be influenced but yes I agree obviously.

The better idea would be 50 of us to enquire about hiring the blue one on April 1st every year for the next 10 years and they might remove the mindless add!

Unless of course its legit and Les has signed up.

Just been doing some digging. Has anyone seen any signs of activity around Thruxton or any signs of life with 'Enscorcia'?

The company has got to be running out of borrowed time by now?!

Some of the many TVR companies have very recently filed Confirmation Statements at Companies House.

TVR Finance - 12th March
TVR Automotive - 27th February
TVR Developments - 4th March

Ensorcia details can be found here: https://tracxn.com/d/companies/ensorcia/__fIsd4UrX...

I have sent an abuse report to the company which hosts the Classic Parade website, mentioning the Griffith and Alfieri scam pages and the bogus range of colours offered. Also with a link to the Trustpilot 1-star reviews webpage, which are the ones you can believe. They have in the past acted quickly to take down a scam website.

The owner of Classic Parade Andrew Brown appears to be a multi millionaire from NFT 'Art' so presumably has quite a sway with his web hosting people. He even gave away original art as an 'experiment' in London - people could pay whatever they wanted for paintings when they bought them but no one actually put their hand in their pockets. Seems like an odd cove.

That's probably the clue that those are more AI art than actual concept designs.

I don't think it is a scam company. It has a legit entry in Companies House and you can find plenty of positive reviews if you have a search.

I suspect its just a marketing ploy, when someone phones up and says they want the blue Griffith, they'll just say oh sorry its not available on that day but how about this red Ferrari that we do have (a legit car)

For all we know they could have asked Les' permission to market the Griffith to get him some advertising - false advertising albeit, but that type of thing is widespread in marketing

Why? What possible difference is it making to you?

Nobody can rent any colour of new Griffith. There is only one and it's not for rent.

Anyone doubting whether it is a scam site should take a look at the Trustpilot 1-star reviews at the link below. Many people have lost thousands. One man tried to visit the published company address, and found that it too is bogus.

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.classicparad...

Perhaps they do have a few genuine cars and some satisfied customers. But that is no excuse for maintaining at least two completely bogus webpages offering to hire out cars which they clearly do not have, and could not have (the TVR and Maserati concept cars). And no excuse for operating a website which allows people to pay a £5000 deposit for that non-existent TVR rental car.

Taking money for an asset or service which you know you have misdescribed is a criminal offence - it is FRAUD.

Some posters on this thread have little to do, and too much time to do it in.

Why on earth shouldn’t someone do something about this scam advertising?
And why should it bother you that they have?

I’m glad someone’s had the presence of mind to act.
