Loved today .. graet sunshine, great people, great cars.

low bit for me was some pissflap in a V reg chim who hadn't taken much notice of the overtaking rules in the briefing .. an attempt at stright-lining hte last chicane in an attempt to make a pass up the pit straight resulted in so much body flex on the S that my roof flew off! bugger

to add insult to injury, when i asked the Chim owner if he'd heard of mirrors he replied : I knew you were there but you didn't have enough speed! yeah so i suppose aliens dropped me right on your rear bumper then! lmfao.

Rest of day was absolutely brill .. congrats to anyone and everyone involved in getting this going and making it a roaring success. Including the travelling i managed to spend 135 pounds in fuel! haha

And do i get the prize for the slowest straightline speed .. 105mph at the end of the back straight roof on, 95mph roof off! Don't think my S really disgraced itself though over a complete lap despite only having 178bhp. lol

once again, big thanks for this day. It was brill

Far from it... you seemed to decend on most things round the corners (just how stiffly sprung is the car?!?!) - only on the straights did they pull away.

Were any laps timed..?

No timing allowed Pod.

I always like Jonny for BaT's take on this:
" i don't even want to see you looking at the position of the sun as you cross the line ..."

Was going to ask the same thing, presuming we're on about the same one (although I doubt there's any confusion!!).

It seemed like the arse end went down coming out of the corner, and stayed there for the whole start/finish straight! Left everything for dead.

I noticed it had no air con .. there was a 4.5 sold by TMS to a guy who was very passionate about having his TVRs as true performance cars .. that included ordering a 4.5 LW with no aircon to save weight .. must surely be the same car? I followed it around for about 3 laps whilst giving a passenger ride to a guy who'd travelled down from Scotland. He must surely win the *furthest distance* award?
