My Comments :-

The tyre weld works well but would only use it as a get me home tool, just like the get me home spare with its 50 mph max.

If I had a puncture I would consider a new tyre anyway, as a repair would always play on my mind in the TVR.

Am a competitive Triathlete and had looked at some of the tyre weld product for bikes, and yes a prevent puncture treatment is available which stays in the tyre for a season only sealing a puncture when it happens. Did not like this idea because I would not know that a puncture had occurred only to find a problem later on a fast decent.

IIRC there is a date on the Tyreweld can which I believe is a "use by" date
