I can only echo what Redeye put. Truly memorable day. So glad we went.

Mr & Mrs Ntel, you did such a great job.

Thanks to all who helped with the lifts (Michael, the guy in the ocean haze griff - thank you).

Thank you to all the workers past and present and those who took time out to join us in the pub.

TVR in Britain will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

More pics of a truly memorable (just wish it had been under happier circumstances) day and many thanks to all those that put soo much effort into making yesterday happen, all those who made the effort to get there, but mostly to all the workforce for not only bringing us the cars we enjoy but for making yesterday one of the most emotionally charged days of my TVR ownership!
WELL DONE GUYS AND ALL THE BEST FOR THE FUTURE - whatever it brings

Morning Mark, great pictures you have posted there. Not to sure about those shorts in the picture 'the yorkshire crew'.

The flags where a great idea and mine at least lasted until the pub but when I arrived home I was a proud owner of a stick. biglaugh

If the factory does eventually close maybe it would be a good idea to make the Blackpool run a calendar event?

Was in Chicago until Tue. Had to come back for this! Bit disappointed to see that you couldn't be arsed to come.

Hmmm.. Touristenfahrten? I always said you were full of wind but I'm impressed that the Germans worked you out that quickly.

Couldn't be there in body yesterday (though present in spirit - see previous thread) as on-call and in theatre (noon to 1am) and the NHS requires eight weeks notice of leave! rotate

Spechen zie Deutsch? No I thought not - while you were blowing off in the windy city, the real men were at the 'Ring! yes

I can just see a night out in Blackpool with a drive down the prom at night with those Blackpool lights overhead. Now that would be impressive!!! If they will not be a factory tour next year I for one will be tripping the lights fantastic next year in the 'British Built TVR'.
