I've no photos but I've just uploaded about 8mins worth of video to PH TV. Shows a walk by of all the cars on the prom (I think I missed the first dozen cars at the far end - sorry) and then my drive past the workers at the factory.

I followed him into Blackpool, then had him on my tail all the way through the procession & We kept wondering who the guy in the Jag was!!!

Doh!

I would like to add my thanks and support to the TVR workers. These are such sad times for the British TVR marque and yet another nail in the coffin of British manufacturing in general. I have been a life-long TVR supporter and have owned my Cerbera for 6 1/2 years, one of the main reasons I bought my car was because of its British pedigree and have loved every minute of ownership. TVR, to me, sums up the the true spirit of this country, with its eccentric styling, huge power and the, two-fingers up at normal, attitude it conveys.

I would have been there yesterday in person but, unfortunately, due to work I could only be there in spirit. So, thanks to those that carried the banner and travelled so far to voice the opinion of so many true supporters of TVR. clap

Good luck to all workers at the factory and thanks for making TVR what it was. bow

Just watched Russes video on Piston TV and i must say i found it hard not to shead a tear or two, well to be honest i did weeping

I for one can only say i was glad i made the effort to show my support to the workers of TVR in person and it will be a day i will always remember.

Thanks to ntel and his wife and all of the other guys and galls who made this possible.thumbup

Also Leetvr and EO66 for the company and good fun driving to Blackpool and back and also to Eddy And his mates i spent ages chatting to in the Red Lion all Top TVR workers for many years.

I wish all the workers the very best and to the owners who were able to attend will always remember what they were doing on the 3rd November 2006 yes

Appearing on the BBC news report was a nice bonus though

Very proud of all those who attended and sorely wish I was able to. Sadly I'm between TVRs at the moment and had nothing to drive up in! I pick up my new tuscan S on tuesday!

With all the sh*t about TVR going on at the moment, I bet you're pretty chuffed. After all, it'll be one of the very last British built TVR's EVER.

That's something to savour and cherish.

Enjoy it. thumbup

Just read your profile and I have to say you have the nicest line up of owned cars I have seen on PH's. Good taste in metal if I don't say so meself.

A bit confused as to why you're replacing the Sag. Can't be for topless driving, given the current climate. hehe

Just got back after a trip abroad(biz)so all I want to say is well done to all who went-a tremendous gesture which was obviously really well received by the workers.

My message to the workers is just this.

I take huge pride in the wonderfull car you designed, developed and built and I know I am priviledged to own such a fine machine.

I wish you all a succesfull and happy future and you will never be forgotten.

British TVR's are now and always will be the very best TVR's there will ever be.

Thank you!
