Will be leaving for the Ace shortly but sadly my car won't
Clutch just not feeling clever enough and don't want it to be me who gives the press the satisfaction of throwing in a broken down TVR pic with some snide comment.
Will come along with camera to capture the departure and say hello to a few peeps wavey

We're thinking about all of you all day. We're so sorry we can't be there but I've got such a bad back that I can't get in the car. I was hoping that the pain would have subsided enough to get into the Tuscan but no such luck - I'm shuffling around the house like a zombie.

Drive safely everyone.

I don't own a TVR but driving out of London on the A40 it was wonderful to see and hear so many TVR's going the other way. Good luck and sorry I couldn't be there to show my support.

Just got back fromm the Ace, as I could'nt do the convoy around the centre due to another committment. It took nearly an hour for all the cars to get on their way!

I was told that the police had counted 450 as the Ace and they had another huge load held up esewhere on purpose. To quote a marshall quoting a policeman, this lot have really f###k#d London.

Sad as it is, the fact that it actually causes grid lock makes it more news worthy and more likely to make it into the news. Oh and don't forget to do a search for 'TVR London' on the BBC news home page as that will also bring it to their attention .

Well done everyone.

Guess we could have done with lots of convoys in different directions to hit Whitehall/Parliament Square at different points.

But good thing we had the count at Ace if it really was that high!

Thanks to the police for letting so many of us park in the middle of Whitehall. Was surprised not to see more TVRs going round and round Parliament Square getting the back out...

Well, I went, made the 'ace' followed what I thought was the convoy, turned out to be others lost, sat in traffic in Brent, at 14.30 gave up and headed for home. Stopped to ask for directions at a garage, car wouldn't start due to immobiliser prob' [never happened before, first ever TVR breakdown] went use phone to find it had limited service. Not happy, threw phone on floor, kicked car, and punched key fob. Heard fuel pump prime, got back into car, started and came home. Think I should've gone to work after all. Hope others had better day.
