We are going to be 22 strong leaving Woodall. (at least)_ In its own right we will be a conversation topic on the road. At what speed do we agree to cruise at?
I think 70 maybe too slow however, I have nearly got enough points for a bike!!!

All timings are calculated based on 65mph. So if we get to the other meeting points early, well.................Er we were only doing 70mph officer, honest.

If I was a cop I'd be on a bridge somewhere havin read about all this. in fact its too good an opportunity to miss!!

IF I were a Cop - I would get to the front of our convoy and give us a blue light escort 9(not a light blue escort 1 )

Hi Fellow Thunderers

Should have some London Thunder Vinyls ready to send out tomorrow for every TVR on the list

I have suggested that someone near the beginning of the convoy may like to offer their services to have a delivery in advance ("signed for" so as not to lose them) so we stand more chance of getting them all on for the rally and not leave it until we get to the Ace.

Extras may be available for those who you may pick up along the way, but can't gaurantee it

Suggested collecting a couple of quid each or more, with proceeds to go to the central coffers for the day. Convoy leaders, would you mind collecting on my behalf.

Sorry I don't have time to trawl through every post to find out if you have a leader yet.

If one of you could volunteer and forward a delivery address for receipt on Friday to

themoosehunter@tiscali.co.uk

That would be great

I'll try to do an application and positional guide as well as enclose a squeegee or two to help with the application process (I will be marking you out of 10 for prenetation at the Ace )

Cheers

Moose

Apologies to anyone whose has already sent me thier details, they are at home and I am at work cutting in nearly 400 vinyls

I might be able to join the convoy from the M1. What time will you lot be going past 28/27/26/25 area? and is there a stop near to here (like donnington?) where I could be sure to tag along from?

Might have a spare seat too if I can make it

Many thanks

Andy

We are a bit stuck for time so we will not be stopping at Donington. We will however be stopping for 10 minutes at Leicester Forest East which is only 20 minutes further South. We will be leaving Woodall at 8.10am so you should be able to work out approximately when we will be passing a particular junction. I'll stick you on the list.

70mph sound perfect. Afterall, thats the speed we "always" travel at on the motorway isn`t it confused...

Always, oh yes, all the time, never 1mph over, deffo. If we travelled any faster that would be breaking the law, wouldn't it?

I suggest 0.8 leptons to allow for impromtu toilet stops, pax swaps, roadworks etc.
i have hazard detector if you want me to drive shotgun (bandit style) hehe
obviusly not if mrs ntel is trying the pax seat Dave, you know she deserves one yes
I'd also appreciate someone to operate my vid camera for some of the way down the M1 for part of the way- gives a weak excuse to pull over swap pax & then catch the convoy up for filming, pull ahead film them come past & start again thumbup- Any budding camera crew up for a ride?

Hi mate long time no see! How is the banana Tam keeping? I might well have someone up for a bit of camera crew action. She is blonde and doesn't eat much! She also loves TVRs especially in Yellow. See you Sunday mate thumbup

PS, I would send you an email but apparently your PH account doesn't accept them

Hi Ben, how's uni? don't tell me I'll be soo jealous hehe
is she coming Sunday?, don't know why the mails not happening though- I don't mid quick stops to swap pax's if anyone else wants to join in & try different cars on the way down- it stops the motorway boredom.
The pax seat has been offered to a worker though for the London bit.

Doh- profile updated for incoming mail.

Well I will make you jealous and say that I spent all day in the library today... not too brilliant at the moment! This little thing called "Work" is a real pain in the ass.

My lovely other half will be there on Sunday. We also have a passenger seat free for a worker or possibly two on the London section.

I wouldn't mind another go in that pax seat mate either, it seems rude not to! thumbup

See you Sunday thumbup

Vinyl Update...........

Moosehunter is posting 35 vinyls which I should receive on Friday. These will be a couple of quid each (more if you wish). All monies received will be added to the workers transport / drinks / food kitty. Up to now we have a total of 35 in our little convoy so we should just about have enough.

PLEASE DON'T BE LATE AT THE MEETING POINTS AS WE WILL BE LEAVING BANG ON TIME

If you want a brew, a pee, a number 2 or need some gogo juice, then please turn up early.

See Ya'll on Sunday.....Dave and Dot
