Have a load of photos of my Tuscan during its build, great little piece of history for my car.

My dad did development work for TVR in the 70's and 80's - in school holidays I used to go up to Blackpool and the research building in Bamber Bridge where Oliver Winterbottom was based much of the time - instead of having to sit in the car outside like I did when he visited other clients, TVR always allowed me in and just ton wander around the factory - I was 10-16 years old at the time he visited there and can vividly remember the walls plastered with Page 3 girls, foul language and the smell of resin
I didn't realise TVR were in Bamber Bridge too. I remember seeing a few Tuscans heading to the old test track near me in Leyland. Where were they in Bamber Bridge?

It's in Oliver Winterbottom's book. Chapter 7.

That provides a detailed answer as to how they ended up in Bamber Bridge. Basically it was to move the prototype Tasmin forward at a faster pace than had previously been the case at a 3rd party's facilities in Norfolk. As you probably know, Winterbottom styled it. Not that, apparently, Martin Lilley or Stewart Halstead, or the market liked the result!

Winterbottom says that the address was Unit 466 Walton Summit. There is still a Walton Summit centre which has industrial units, and Walton Summit Road. PR5 8AR

I see its already been mentioned in terms of location. Testing my memory now but I seem to recall it as being a fairly new, small unit that was primarily used for development purposes, my dad spent as much time there as he did at Bristol Avenue during the Tasmin development plus time at MIRA as well
