Just got back from a weeks Skiing and read all about this….. I have just been on the phone to Dave Davies at AutoCraft and he had just come off the phone to Al Melling. It is true what has been said elsewhere by Racing Partners.

Al Melling intends to maintain production through Blackpool, building the following models:

TVR:
Sagaris
Tuscan
T350

Melling:
Wildcat

The engines will be the new Melling 32 valve, all aluminium V8 and a modified derivative of the AJP8.

Dave has confirmed that AutoCraft wil continue to support and develop the Speed 6 engines.

Al Melling is distressed to see what has become of TVR of late and has always had a great passion for the mark; he has the drive and enthusiasm to rebuild the company and to see it succeed. But he needs the TVR public and the Piston Heads fraternity to get behind him in this venture. Please let’s give Al Melling and AutoCraft the recognition and support they deserve, after all it’s every one of us that can take pride in helping to ensure TVR remains in Britain and British built.

IMO he needs to add the Griffith or at least a new Griffith to that list, perhaps the Speed Six variant that's been posted on numerous threads recently

The Tuscan II convertable, with AL's 32 valve v8 WOULD BE the new Griff in my book.
I hope AM can pull this off as it would be great shame to see TVR die like this.
