Sorry, rant mode engaged - I'm all for the continuation of TVR, I'm on my third of what I hope will be many, very very disappointed they've left the country, but if the British Beef spirit remains, I'll prolly keep buying them.

But this..... this..... this...... this is just NOT ON.

www.tvrccna.org/TVRNUS/index.html

Yep, great, US sales, blah blah, all the rest, mind the marketing gap etc etc.

But WHY OH WHY OH WHY do they have to drape a gorgeous 100% British car in that rag? Again, I'm all for a prestigious launch and encouragement of the new market, but please, no, no, no, no, no. A new one, fine, cover it in a blue UN flag for all I care, but a Saggy.... that's a Brit car....

I agree, fecking yanks show no respect.
But what do you expect from the bunch of crooks that have 'bought' TVR.

I have it on good authority that ALL new TVR's (if they ever happen) will only be produced in Left Hand Drive!!

Why drape it in the stars n stripes but leave the UK plates on? Feckwits.

And does it make any sense that the Sag is the "base" model, with the Tusc Vert two rungs up in price? Surely the Sag was the top dog?

Love to know where in the UK the chassis and body are to be made. Shame on whoever is involved IMO.

Well, erm...

The article states that there will be around 20 dealers in Europe? Does this include the current dealer network in the UK? What will happen to UK cars, customers and dealers, are they just going to be shown the continued contempt they have been so far by the owners of TVR?

This all stinks to me, I'm sorry but draping The Stars and Stripes over the car is just an insult. TVR is no longer British, and it will have lost its soul.

I wouldnt worry too much about all cars being LHD from now on, I get the feeling Nick Smallendski is still firmly incharge given his open and detailed fantasies....erm plans as covered in the Austrian interview a couple of weeks ago!

I think the Septics have merely bought the rights to produce and market certain models in the USA under the TVR banner

Im guessing that soon we will see an influx of colonial Sagari' with 24" chrome wheels, blacked windows, 2 tonne sound systems, hydraulics and spinners rolleyes
