We traded in our beloved BMW 325 convertible to buy our Griffith. It was a 1990 and had done 85,000 miles. We also had a very rare hardtop which we sold privately.

No regrets. However we would have liked to have kept the BMW as well.

I traded in my much loved Batmobile, a 99T black Alfa Romeo GVT 2.0 TS, it lookEd the dogs nads, even if there wasn't enough low down torque without keeping the revs up..
That's all sorted now as I have got a Tuscan S,no shortage of torque there!! and it also looks like the BATMOBILE..

I am now officially happy as f**k...

Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo for a Tuscan. Nice! Fiat was fast (much to Boxster drivers annoyance - "but I have the best sports car the world !!!???"), but the limit was mostly just understeer. TVR sorted that out for me

LDV Pilot van - Dealer promptly made me park it round the back of their premises when i collected the Tiv - looked a little out of place on the forecourt surrounded by Tivs, Loti and a Noble .

Me too Kept up with Scoobies and Boxster drivers. Lots of fun, and style (some people loved it others hated it).

Cerbera means that I don't notice Boxsters/Scoobies trying to take me on anymore.

An old and very faithful 2.6 V6 Cavalier GL we'd had as the wife's Company car, then bought and used and used and used and used.

I was sad to see it go as it was an excellent workhorse. I almost wish I still had it - it was a stunning mile-eater. Still, we got top book for it and the Chimaera is still with us years on...

Very nearly my life ... I had a massive heart attack six weeks later, but it was worth having the Chimaera for the roof down recovery period.

318ci - Great car with ridiculous attention to detail.

But couldn't resist swapping it for a Chimaera! Much more fun

Ultimately a Golf 1.8 turbo...

Couldn't justify running the Griff and the Golf so I flogged the Golf and brought another Rover Coupe...

All my life savings.

Had to borrow a shed load of cash to pay for things like food and my tax bill!!

still in the financial mire now!!

still, buying all your clothes at TK maxx and all your food at kwik save is a small price to pay!

BTW, i blame www.pistonheads.com. before I joined, I was gonna spend £8,000 on a fun car. Somehow, you lot talked me into spending £14,500 on a Chim.

Thanks guys!!!

A 1995 Nissan 200SX.
Great car but nothing compared to the Chimaera I changed to in Jan 1999!
