Sorry if it upsets you - but...

If faced with the coice of either hurting myself or hurting you, I'll hurt you everytime.

Oh yes, get folks back up now for sure.

Gee thanks I feel so much better Nice to know that you give a toss about anyone else, me i might buy a gun cos if it's you or me then it's you for sure - same mentality just taken on to the next step, stupid isn't it !! If people take your attitude then it's on wonder the world is full o self centered tossers

yup thats right...

If someone with a hammer asks should I hit you or him, I'm going to say hit him.

Would you say hit me?

Blooming 4 x 4 drivers. what they forget is that they are NOT in safer vehicles. In fact 4 x 4s dont even have to pass the same safety rules. The chassis design of a traditional 4 x 4 is not at all safe. In a normal round town crash then a 4 x 4 is great but have a decent smack and then a modern big car is designed to absorb etc..

Byff, no offence to you. But try this one. You have kids? maybe maybe not, you are married though, your mrs is out in somone elses car, the car has to brake heavily, the 4x4 behind also brakes but knowns that he not stop does he try an swerve? err.... no he dries straight into the car and kills you wife. Eye witnesses say that he made no attempt to avoid the car rather he drove straight it, he tells you 'look mate sorry about your wide and all but it was either roll and hurt myself or kill your wife, so I chose to kill her, no hard feelings ok? That driver knew that he was driving a car that might topple over, his choice (i've not problem with that we can drive what we like within reason) but likewise his choice was to hurt someone else than himself. Would you be okay with that? best mates have a few beers?? I think not right? so whats the difference between you saying drive into someone rather than accept the risk of the vehicle that you chose to drive and the above??

It sounds like stupid reasoning to me. Drive a 4x4 if you must but don't do so thinking that you can chose to hurt someone else

Actually, we can drive what we like, full stop. As long as we have a licence to cover it.

BTW, I wouldn't just slam straight into the car, I would do everything possible to avoid a collision, but I wouldn't risk my life to do it. I would hope I had scrubbed off enough speed and I'd try to avoid hitting the passenger compartment.

Of course, I know the limitations of my car and I leave enough distance between the car infront and myself, but sometimes people cut in and reduce that gap and they do so at their own risk, until I've had time to drop back to a safe distance again.

Byff, that's what I meant by within reason, just didn't want to type it - if I hadn't put it someone would have offered a smart arse comment about what you couldn't drive on the road.

I'm sure that you drive within both your and the cars limits, on't tried to imply other wise. You have you view, I have mine if you drive a car inhrently flawed you accept the dangers not transpose/impose these to others
