I was going to go direct via Wickford, Maldon way but could come up the A130 to your meeting point.

What times and places are you meeting, bearing in mind I am coming from Bn.

Lee,

I am meeting 2 cars at the first parking lay-by along the new A130 by-pass. The lay-by we are meeting at is just after the A132 (Wickford) turn off/join on the A130 by-pass.

We are meeting there at 11.15am...prior to moving off towards the white hart whose directions are on are this thread somewhere.

So let me know if you wish to meet me along the A130, white hart or maybe you want to go direct to the Forresters.

ZZR, from Braintree head towards Witham town centre. When you get to Newlands Street (like the High Street) you have a choice. Turn left out of town towards A12 Colchester but take a right and follow signs to Braxted - then Gt.Totham (see Pauline's map). Or turn right through the town and head for A12 Chelmsford. Past the Hatfield Peverel turn-off and take the next s/p Chelmsford, Boreham, Springfield, A130 etc. Right at the r/bout to the next. First exit down to BP garage, just over that you'll see the White Hart on the left. Or you could turn off at Hat Pav and meet me somewhere (other than the pub with the angry woman!).

Would that be a dark blue Chimp, or the electric blue with Zertec twin headlamps? I live in Braintree and I'll be going on Sunday. Changed my car last week from an ice blue Tuscan to a reflex purple Tuscan S. Any one else in the Braintree area going? Maybe the entire Essex convoy could meet in my road and pi55 my neighbours off.

BigT, I'm going from North London so we could meet up first. How about off Jct 26 of M25 at the Hotel that used to be the Swallow, at about 10.30? We could then go on to Chelmsford for 11.15?

Slightly O/T but I'll be bringing a 225 50 16 SO2, ( which has a little life in it and a 205 55 15 which has loads of life left in it along to the meet tomorrow.

If anyone wants them they are free.

I just need to get them out of the garage.

Sounds like two convoys, to save upsetting the - still, the small villages along the way will echo to the sounds of TVR's!
