Porker GT3, or TVR
Discussion
I chopped a 911 2.7 for the Chim 3 yrs ago, had the Porky 14 years and loved it to death, unfortunately the company Vectra was as fast as the Porky so something more exiting was needed for the weekend
WOW talk about exiting, had to keep valeting the Chim everytime I took it out for the first week or so ( shovelling out the brown stuff). I would'nt say one was better than the other-just different- would have both If I could. Drove a lot of modern Porkies but none had the sheer excitement of the TVR.

OK, so probably don't care about it, but I ought to let you know.
Croxley Green on Wednesday:
Half a dozen TVRs, half a dozen Chevrolets, a couple of Cadillacs. All the above had plenty of admiring visitors.
The Porkers? About half a dozen at the back. All the interest I saw was for the Renault Spider in amongst them.
Depends what you wnt I guess. Porkers are not "different".
PS: But you sound happy enough

We prefer TVR.Having owned a Chimaera ( used every day for 21 months and never ever let us down) and a Tuscan (one of the early cars which had a few problems). We thought we should venture into the Porsche market mainly for the reliability aspect.
We chose a Boxter S. The build quality etc was very good and it was very reliable but after just a matter of weeks we became very bored with this car.It just wasn't exciting and not quick enough. We thought that a 996 would be a bit more special so we went for a test drive. We can honestly say that the performance was virtually the same, very dissapointing. The interior was virtually the same apart from the 2 extra seats it just didn't feel like you were in a different car. Back to the drawing board. After much discussion we decided to get another TVR a Griffith.
We will never forget the day we picked it up and drove off my god it was awesome. The noise, the acceleration
it just blew the porsche away. To sum it up the car was really alive the porsche we can only describe as a souless machine that had been well built but had no real character.
Since then we currently own another Griffith one of the limited edition( used every day for the last 16 months) and shall be changing this coming tuesday to a tuscan s. We accept that the build quality isn't as good as the porsche and there is a possibility that the tuscan will let us down mechanically but we feel it is worth it.
