I agree, please don't close the thread. Personally I think thoughtless comments regarding traffic cops should be deleted - the cops are only doing their job. It's our own fault if we cross the legal barrier.

With regard to the first North Wales TVRCC meet - all the very best.

------------------------------------------------------(YAWN several times at an obvious idiot!)

What sort of quote is this?.......im pleased that you are in the Minority on here, and ......hopefully we will meet some day in a professional capacity

Its sad too see that idiots are now voicing opinions on this Forum which are really better kept to themselves.

Hmmm ... two posts with no content - kinda speaks for itself.

For one I'm damn glad that there are a few BiB on here to give some balance and I actually have no objection to police doing people for speeding. I'm 33 now and as a "youngster" it was a test of observation for both parties as to whether you got picked off ... shame that the tools are so much better now. Last time I got "pulled" - for 92 on the M3 near Winchester - I'd been picked off from best part of a kilometer away!

What I am dissapointed about is that my kid (who is now 7) won't have the opportunity to do the same kinds of things as we did when he learns to pass his test.

What sort of quote is this?

Well its like this, Why do I never see you lot outside schools, playgrounds and housing estates where I see loads of drivers speeding. I would love to see you lot working in these areas.
But no your to busy hiding on quiet country roads in the middle of nowhere or on the top of some motorway bridge at 2 o clock in the morning thats why I get pissed off with you lot.

I really cant believe the content of your recent posts on here, some of which are rather quite offensive.

Still....at least im not alone in my evaluation of your sick way of mind.

Sad thing is (if its yours anyway) that you own a TVR.....Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I know that i shouldnt reply to this utter crap but sometimes.....well...i dont need to explain.

Unfortunately there is no test to take before ownership of a TVR is allowed or he wouldn't have one

I've binned Finston's posts. By all means disagree with things, but there's always a requirement here for some civility.

Yep. A5 through the mountains of Snowdonia..beautiful if a little crowded.

The A470 up through the centre of Wales can be a joy too...

The Evo Triangle is superb, A543 (just off A5) up to Denbigh, then down past Bala ... has to be one of the best roads I have ever been on. Very safe, excellent visibility just need to look out for the odd sheep on the road. In 2 years of driving up there I am glad to say I've never seen any idiots, accidents or even the police (best not mention the latter!!)

Simon: I don't suppose you could do an Autoroute route/picture of a drive around A543/Bala...etc

I have friends up that way and might do a weekend up there, drive a nice route one day, see them the other sort of thing...

Simon

Barry, co-RO for TVRCC Staffs, has just sent out the e-mail reminder to our regulars about this months meet and has also mentioned the "where & when" for your meeting for those interested.

I wish I could make it as, weather permitting, it should be a great day out. Like I said, best of luck to you!
