I was going to wear my skydiving lid whilst driving, it has a sony PC120 camcorder on the side so I will video the convoy till we get to the Foresteres.

Hey come to think of it I might make the missus wear it

Would love to ditch paperwork and come out to play, but we've got 2 new contracts starting before we go away, and I need to make sure everything gets organised properly .... or I'll come home to a group of unhappy clients (and at the end of the day they finance my weakness for loud cars).

Have a good meet.

Yes! The Vixen now has an MoT!

Right, we'll be coming from Epping, so from the A414 where's the meet-up pub?

Excellent news! - How well do you know Chelmsford? or do you need a complete guide?

Just a guide from the big roundabout on the A414 where the bowling alley and that horrible double width restriction are. I know Chelmsford town centre well enough, so just a guide from either there or the end of the 414 will do fine. Cheers.

OK, I'll send you an e-mail... give me a few minutes!

EDIT - can't send you a mail, you're not listed!!!!

OK, head through the double restriction bits towards the Wood Street Tesco roundabout... take the second exit (straight on) and follow this road to the Army and Navy roundabout (you'll pass an Esso garage on the right and there's a minor roundabout before you get to the Army and Navy.

At the Army and Navy, take the 2nd exit (striaght on) and you'll have fields on the right... heading towards another roundabout - you'll see PC World in front of you.

Take the 2nd exit (right) past the retail park, to a smaller roundabout - straight over that (2nd exit) and follow the road (houses on your left).

At the next roundabout (Asda) go straight over... and straight over the next 2 roundabouts (new housing estate on your right).

At the next rounabout (little cottage on your left and a Toyota garage ahead of you) turn right (3rd exit). Drive past the Landie and Renault garages on your left and B&Q on the right.

At the big roundabout take the 3rd exit (almost doubling back on yourself).. follow the road along, straigh over the next (small) roundabout and then onwards! (NEARLY THERE!)

At the main roundabout, you'll see an MG garage on the left, and Sainsbury's ahead of you. Take the 3rd exit... (Sainsbury's being the 2nd one!) and then almost straight away, the White Hart is on your right...!

Mail me via my profile if you want a contact number.

Podie - Sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to this thread and your email. I'm affraid that I won't be able to make this months convoy again, as I'm still tivless . The boss of the company that my friend works for is away on holiday, so he is running it and doesn't get a lot of time to spend on the car. I not even sure if I'm going to the meet yet as I was thinking about going to pie on the beach II.

Try reading through the thread... basically, you come off the A12 at the Boreham turnoff, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout (straigh ahead ish!) and carry on down the road. White Hart is on your left.. if you reach another roundabout, you've gone past it!!!!

Meet at 11:00 (quick drink) and depart at 12:00 SHARP for the convoy to the meet!

Drop me a line via my profile if you want better instructions, or have any questions!
