TVR Power on fire? Cars lost. News needed.
Discussion
I would only echo all of the other positive messages of support on this and other threads. I have never been a customer of TVR Power but their very existance and huge reputation simply allow me to view my car's future with the same confidence I would were it supported by it's manufacturer.
I'm sure owners of 'T' series cars and Cerbs with S6 engines and others supported by Dom must feel the same. In fact I really believe that without TVR Power values of Speed 6 powered cars would be somewhere south of where they presently are!!
So good on you Dom and you will look back on this episode with memories of dread but there will also be positive aspects that will emerge and endure.
Far be it from me of offer advice where none has beedn asked, but if anyone knows Dom well enough to pass this on, please do so. In case he hasn't already, I feel strongly that he should retain a loss adjuster/claims assessor - usually available on a % basis.
NU will be represented by someone who's principle objective will NOT be to maximise the value of the claim! He and his team will be experienced in such negotiations and I think Dom should have a similar person 'onside' to arguue his case (and the case of the unfortunate owners). This is NOT to falsely inflate the claim but simply to use every opportunity to maximise it within the spirit and the rules of engagement. Proceeding ortherwise would, IMHO, be like representing oneself against large institution who have specialist legal departments representing them.
Nick.
