Just had a message that TVR 'servicing' read Power, may be on fire in Longford, several cars lost. It was on the local radio news. Is this true?

Anybody got any news? Sad indeed if this is true.

Lets hope that everyone is ok and that none of the TVR tooling has been lost. Best wishes to Dom and all the crew there.

Well it did say a single story building, so hopefully if the stock is upstairs it will be in a different building.

frown Must say that something like this has always been uncomfortably lingering in the back of my mind whenever a car of mine was lodging in an industrial unit somewhere from home for several months...

Really hope none of the customers' cars have been affected but the reports sure don't sound good. frown

Dom and the other folks at Power must be gutted, too. cry

It says 'just' two cars destroyed and 15 damaged.

That gives me some hope because it doesn't take much of a fire to destroy cars when they are parked up really tightly. But does seem at odds with 45 fire crew in attendance.

edited to add that another report says 7 cars destroyed. frown

Keep my fingers crossed not as bad as this

Two destroyed, but TVR bodies in close proximity to fire have been known to literally melt. Hope it's not as bad as it sounds for Dom and the crew.

In a thousand posts I have never sworn.

The one consolidation is that the news said it happened at 1am.

Hopefully that means Dom and the team were safely home in bed.

Any word of them?

Best wishes for the Future Dom. If you asked for a work party to help clear up, I bet you get it.
