Brilliant job getting this back on the road. Looks and sounds awesome, with just so much presence!
I remember seeing the car at Goodwood one year and just hoped it would eventually make it back on the road.

I'm guessing it's too far to come along on the Tunnel Run in London in Oct

Have you done any Hillclimbs yet Paul ?

It would be nice to see some of you guys with the more 'modified' cars at one of the TVR days at say Harewood or Prescott, with a few videos for those not able to be there on the day.

Not yet, keep meaning to, but time is at a premium at the moment.

They wouldn't have it as it's not a producion car which apparently is the rule, that's the excuse they had for not putting the Ultima on there that would have wiped the floor with everything else.

I like the idea of this.

Perhaps it could be set up as a charity day for say, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (Hamster if you're reading this please take note).

They could charge us all for tickets and raise extra money by selling track passes for the Top Gear track. Perhaps they could get a few of the 'wilder' TVR's there for the Stig to drive...

I'd prefer to get him something with standard(ish) power, but properly sorted - that would be a lot more impressive and probably net better times, too.

Around 2005 in German mag Sport Auto a non-S Tuscan 2 easily saw off a 911C2S convertible and BMW 6-series in all dynamic test aspects - the highly respected magazine said it had 'driving dynamics at a very high level' - the only things that the German importer had done was fit a different brake pad compound and adjust the geo settings...

Yes but they are production cars, small numbers but not 'one offs'

W112 had some shakedown runs at the recent BNG in Yorkshire and the other car is getting nearer to completion

They've had that Prodrive 1 off car go round before which never even made production. The Ferrari FXX and the Zonda R both of which are not road legal. Not to mention the Renault F1 car. They would probably bin the time like the others but it would be great to prove the point !

You could always hit them with a caveat of no nasty digs. After all Jackie Stewart and Captain Slow said the TVR they drove was great.
