We'll be driving from Ashford (Kent), probably M20, M25, M23, A264 to Billingshurst, A272 to Petworth, A285 to signposts for Goodwood.....

Want to get there fairly early (aim for 8am?), but a gathering a Clacket Lane services (M25) or Peas Pottage services (M23) could be a good plan ?

I was going to go Sat but grandstand tickets are sold out. Not been before. Can anyone tell me if still worth going on admission ticket only? Sounds more fun to me, but as long as you can see stuff that way.

Yes! Personally I'd not bother with grandstand tickets as you're going to be all over the place (it's effing huge) during the day, anyway.

Im meeting a couple of Tivs in Petworth for the final push to Goodwood, but as I live 3 miles from Pease Pottage, what time are you thinking of meeting there? May be able to tie the two up
