so far no probs with them. gaz monos are nice the same as are the nitrons but at the end of the day if you are not doing trackdays on regular basis no sense to spent the extra cash. get the GG with proper spring rates and you will be fine.
The new style ends are fine I think it was just a problem with the early units. GAZ fully refurbished mine and fitted the new style end caps (much chunkier and more sturdy) for £120 and since then they have been fine.
